Interview with Lorenz Flechtenmacher, Co-Founder and CEO, dewa - part of the e-Boks Group
Digital identity is entering a new phase in Europe. With eIDAS 2.0, the EUDI Wallet is becoming the shared foundation for how people identify themselves, sign, and share verified credentials across borders. In this interview, Lorenz Flechtenmacher explains why the wallet flips the model from organisations collecting data to people sharing only what is needed, when it is needed. He also explores how e-Wallet, built through the partnership between e-Boks and dewa, turns the European direction into something practical, secure, and ready for real use cases like verified student ID and age verification.
